Chris Dimock, Principal

Chris Dimock is an Accredited Family Law Specialist.

Chris was first admitted, and practised, as a Solicitor in the United Kingdom. In 1983 he relocated to New South Wales and joined the firm of Sly & Russell, as it then was, assuming responsibility for the firm’s Family Law Department. After practising Family Law in Australia for 10 years, Chris attained Specialist Accreditation in Family Law in 1993 when the Law Society of New South Wales first introduced its scheme of specialist accreditation.

In 2002, Chris established Dimocks Family Lawyers as a boutique law firm committed to Family Law. He has now been practising Family Law exclusively in Australia for more than 25 years.

Chris regularly contributes to Continuing Legal Education programs in New South Wales in relation to Family Law matters. Most recently, he has delivered papers on the effectiveness of binding Financial Agreements between married couples since their introduction 7 years ago, and the Family Law (Shared Parental Responsibility) Act 2006.

Chris is also an accredited FindLaw Feature Writer in Family Law.

Chris is currently a member of the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia, and is a former Convener of the Family Law Committee of the City of Sydney Law Society.

Antonia Fontana, Solicitor

Antonia completed a Bachelor of Laws at Wollongong University in 2006 and a Bachelor of Social Sciences at Sydney University in 2003. She was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2007. Antonia has now practised exclusively in the area of Family Law for more than 4 years.

Antonia is the Chair of the New South Wales Young Lawyers Family Law Committee and previously held the position of Continuing Legal Education Representative.

Antonia is also a member of the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia.
